About The Artist

Emmy is a 28 years old artist based in the Yorkshire Dales, she specializes in pet and wildlife portraits and uses coloured pencils and watercolour as her main mediums. She loves to create vibrant and detailed artwork and has always had a passion for animals and drawing since a young age. Emmy created her first pet portrait in 2016 at 18 years old and started to attend local arts and crafts stalls, after deciding to pursue a career in creating artwork. She decided not to go to university and instead wanted to build a pet and wildlife portrait business. 

Attending Events and Achievements 

During college Emmy displayed some of her college work at the London MCM Comic Con, she drew on shoes and created 3D shoe designs. More recently Emmy has been attending arts and crafts events in Skipton - North Yorkshire, she has had her work on display and for sale at Art In The Pen and Crafts In The Pen. She’s also previously had her work on display at Skipton Town Hall in the Hub.

Emmy’s Style

Emmy prides herself in being a self taught coloured pencil and watercolour artist, she feels that it has enabled her to create her own unique style that stands out in a crowd. She primarily focuses on coloured pencil portraits but she also loves experimenting with different mediums, including gouache, acrylic and pastels.
